Organise a wedding with AI

AI can keep a Vietnamese wedding on track, from the engagement ceremony to the guest list and the budget, while the family makes the decisions.

A Vietnamese wedding often has several parts: the engagement ceremony (ăn hỏi), the ceremony at the bride's and groom's homes, and the reception. Each one has its own guests, gifts, costs and timing, and two families with their own customs.

Use AI as a planner, one piece at a time. Start with a timeline counting back from the date. Then a budget split by item: venue, food tables, clothes, photos, invitations, gift trays. Then a guest list sorted by side of the family and by event.

Feed each answer into the next question. Once the budget exists, ask it to flag where you are over. Once the guest list exists, ask how many tables you need. Small linked steps give better results than one giant request.

Customs differ by region and by family, so do not take AI's word on rituals or lucky dates. Ask the elders, and confirm prices with the actual venue and vendors.

Do it now

Draft the wedding timeline

  1. 1. Tell the chatbot your wedding date, rough budget and which ceremonies you plan.
  2. 2. Use the prompt below to get the timeline.
  3. 3. Share it with both families on Zalo and ask what is missing.
  4. 4. Next, ask the chatbot for a budget table using the same details.
We are planning a wedding in Vietnam on [date], with an engagement ceremony, a home ceremony and a reception for about [number] guests. Make a month-by-month timeline counting back from the date, listing what to book or decide each month. Mark the items that usually need booking earliest. Leave rituals and lucky dates as "ask the family" rather than guessing.
