Get feedback on your pronunciation
Voice tools can show you which words a machine did not understand, which is a useful mirror for your pronunciation.

One easy trick needs no special app. Use speech-to-text, the microphone button on your phone keyboard, set to the language you are learning. Read a sentence aloud and look at what it typed. Words it got wrong are words to practise.
Chatbots with voice mode can also listen and react. Ask it to say a sentence slowly, repeat it yourself, and ask how it sounded. Some apps give helpful notes; others only understand the words and cannot judge the sounds well.
Hearing a model voice helps too. Ask for a list of tricky words, have them read aloud with text-to-speech, and repeat each one several times.
Treat machine feedback as a rough guide. Speech tools handle some accents better than others, so a mistake might be the tool's. For tones, rhythm and the sounds that matter for your exam, a teacher's ear is still the best judge.
Do it now
The dictation mirror

- 3. Circle every word it typed wrong and practise those.
