Reading English news with AI
Read the article yourself first, then ask AI to explain the hard words, check your understanding and quiz you.
Reading English news about your industry keeps you informed and builds your vocabulary. It also feels slow and tiring at first.
Do not ask AI to just translate the whole article. You learn little that way. Read it yourself, mark the words and sentences you do not understand, and ask about only those.
Then write a three-line summary in English and ask the AI to check it. Did you get the main point? Did you miss a key detail? This shows you how well you really understood.
Ask for five new words from the article with simple example sentences. Reading one short article a day this way adds up over months.
