AI for the corner grocery store
A corner shop can use a phone photo and a chatbot to turn messy supplier receipts into a list it can actually track.
A tạp hóa sells hundreds of small things: noodles, fish sauce, eggs, phone top-up cards, cigarettes, soft drinks. Most owners keep it all in their head, plus a stack of supplier receipts in a drawer.
Many chatbots can read a photo. Take a clear picture of a supplier receipt and ask the AI to copy it into a table: item, quantity, price, date. Do this for a week and you can see what you buy most and what each item costs you.
From that table you can ask simple questions. Which items have the biggest price rise this month? Which supplier is cheaper for cooking oil? What should I reorder before the weekend?
Reading photos is not perfect. Blurry handwriting can turn 12 into 17. Glance down the table and compare it to the receipt before you trust the totals.

- 3. Compare three lines of the table with the paper receipt.
This is a photo of a supplier receipt for my small grocery shop. Copy it into a table with columns: item, quantity, unit, unit price (dong), amount (dong). Add the total at the bottom. If any line is hard to read, mark it with a question mark instead of guessing.
