Lesson 164 · 2 min
Why use more than one AI together
Different assistants have different strengths and blind spots, so a second opinion from another one catches mistakes the first would never flag.

Each assistant is trained differently. One may write warmer Vietnamese, another may be better at long documents or at searching the web. None is best at everything, and their mistakes do not always overlap.
A simple pattern is draft and review. Ask one assistant for the draft, then paste it into another and ask it to find errors, missing points and unclear sentences. The reviewer has no pride in the draft, so it is more willing to criticise it.
Another pattern is split by strength. Use a research tool to collect sources, a writing assistant to turn them into a letter, and a spreadsheet helper for the numbers.
Agreement between two AIs is not proof. They can share the same wrong belief from similar training data. For anything important, the final check is still a trusted source or a person who knows the subject. And remember each tool gets a copy of what you paste, so watch what you share.
Do it now
Draft with one, review with another
- 1. Ask one assistant to draft a short email or explanation you need.
- 2. Paste the draft into a different assistant with the prompt below.
- 3. Decide which suggestions are right and edit the draft yourself.
Another AI wrote this draft: [PASTE DRAFT] Act as a careful editor. List any factual claims I should check, anything confusing, and anything missing for [AUDIENCE]. Do not rewrite it yet.

Words from this lesson
- Hallucination
- When an AI states something false with confidence, such as a made-up fact, quote or source.
- Sycophancy
- An AI's tendency to agree with you or flatter your ideas instead of telling you where you are wrong.
- Model
- The trained file of learned patterns that does the actual work inside an AI product. One model can power many apps.
