Our rules, in writing
We say no to some sponsors. These rules protect our readers, and they protect you from appearing next to someone you'd rather not.
We don't accept
- No gambling, betting or lottery products
- No scams, pyramid schemes or "get rich quick" offers
- No misleading finance: no guaranteed returns, crypto hype or loan sharks
- No adult content, weapons, tobacco or vaping
- No political or religious campaigns
- No products that collect personal data without clear consent

- Sponsors never change what a lesson teaches
- We don't share our readers' personal data with sponsors
- Quizzes and certificates never carry sponsorship
- We can end a sponsorship that breaks these rules

Questions people ask
- Can we write the sponsored text ourselves?
- You can send a draft. We edit it to fit our plain style and send it back for your approval.
- Do you sell reader data or email lists?
- No. Sponsors get aggregate figures, such as how many people saw and clicked a placement.
- Can we sponsor a lesson about our own product?
- No. Lessons stay independent. An explainer video, clearly labelled, is the right format for that.
