Lesson 202 · 2 min
Writing a complaint that gets results
A complaint works when it states the facts, the impact and the exact fix you want, calmly and with evidence.

Angry complaints feel good to write and often get ignored. The person reading it may not be the one who made the mistake, and they respond better to a clear case than to blame.
Use four parts: what happened (dates, order numbers, names of products), what it cost you, what you have already tried, and the specific fix you want by a specific date.
AI is good at turning a heated draft into this calm shape. Ask it to keep every fact and remove insults and exaggeration. Then check it did not soften the facts too much.
Attach evidence such as photos, receipts or screenshots. If the problem involves money or a contract and the company does not respond, ask a consumer protection body or a lawyer what your options are.
