Exam prep with practice questions

Practising with questions beats rereading your notes, and AI can make as many practice questions as you need.

Rereading feels productive because the material looks familiar. Testing yourself is harder and works much better, because pulling an answer out of your memory strengthens it. Researchers call this retrieval practice.

Paste your notes or the topic list and ask for questions in the style of your exam: multiple choice, short answer, or longer problems. Ask for a mix of easy and hard, and for the answers to be hidden until you ask.

Answer on paper first, then check. For every wrong answer, ask why your choice was wrong. Mistakes are the most useful part of the session.

Check the questions too. AI can write a question with two right answers or a wrong answer key, especially in maths and science. If something seems off, look it up in your textbook.

Do it now

Make a 10 question practice test

  1. 1. Paste one chapter of notes or a list of topics into the prompt below.
  2. 2. Answer all 10 on paper before asking for the key.
  3. 3. Ask for 5 more questions on the topics you got wrong.
Here are my notes for [SUBJECT, EXAM]: [PASTE].
Write 10 practice questions in the style of this exam: 6 easy, 4 hard. Do not show the answers.
When I send my answers, mark them, explain each mistake, and then give me 5 new questions on my weakest topic.
