Meetings and notes
AI can turn a messy meeting into clear decisions and a to-do list, as long as everyone knows it is listening.
Video tools like Zoom, Teams and Google Meet now offer AI notes. You can also paste a transcript or your own rough notes into any chatbot.
The most useful output is not a summary. It is three lists: decisions made, action items with an owner and a date, and questions still open.
Always tell people when AI is recording or transcribing. In many countries it is the law, and everywhere it is good manners.
AI notes can mishear names and numbers, or give an action to the wrong person. Have one human check the list before it is sent out.
Do it now
Clean up your last meeting
- 1.Take your notes or the transcript from a recent meeting.
- 2.Paste them with the prompt below.
- 3.Check owners and dates, then share the list with the team.
From these meeting notes, list: 1) decisions made, 2) action items as a table with task, owner and deadline, 3) open questions. Do not invent owners or dates; write "unclear" if missing. [PASTE NOTES]
