Messaging your child's teacher

A chatbot can help you write a clear, polite message to your child's teacher when you are worried or upset.

Writing to a teacher can be awkward. You want to raise a problem, such as your child being teased or struggling with maths, without sounding rude or making it bigger than it is.

Tell the chatbot what happened, what you want and the tone you need. You can ask it to play the role of an experienced parent who knows how to write respectfully to Vietnamese teachers, with the right greeting, like "Kính gửi cô".

Read the draft and make it sound like you. Remove anything you would not say in person and keep it short. Teachers read many messages, and a few clear lines get a better reply.

Leave out other children's full names and private details. Describe what happened and ask to talk.

Do it now

Draft a message to the teacher

  1. 1. Write three facts: what happened, when, and what you would like.
  2. 2. Paste them into the prompt below.
  3. 3. Edit the draft so it sounds like you, then send it through the usual school channel.
Act as a calm, experienced parent in Vietnam. Help me write a short, polite Zalo message to my son's homeroom teacher. Facts: he says some classmates tease him at break time this week; he does not want to go to school. I would like to ask for a short talk. Keep it under 80 words and respectful.
