Teachers: lesson plans with AI
Give AI your class, your goal and your time, and it drafts a lesson plan you can shape with your own judgment.
01 · The idea
A lesson plan prompt works best with the details only you know: the grade, the topic, what students already know, how long the lesson is, what resources you have, and what students should be able to do by the end.
Ask for a structure you can scan: a warm-up, the main activity, practice, a quick check of understanding, and homework, with minutes for each. Ask for one activity where students talk to each other.
Use the draft as a starting point. You know your students, the curriculum and what works in your room. Cut what will not fit, add your own examples, and check every fact and exercise answer.
Save prompts that work in your prompt library. Next week, you only swap the topic and the class details.
02 · Think of it like this
It is like a teaching assistant who prepares a first draft overnight. You still decide what goes on the board.
03 · Do it now
04 · Quick check
