Parents: helping kids learn with AI
Sit with your child and use AI together as a curious helper that explains and asks questions, with you staying in the loop.
01 · The idea
Children will meet AI at school and with friends. Using it together at home lets you show good habits early: ask, think, check.
Use it side by side, on a shared screen. Ask it to explain a homework idea at your child's level, then ask your child to explain it back to you. Turn it into a quiz game for times tables or spelling.
Talk about mistakes. When the AI gets something wrong, celebrate catching it. That teaches the most important lesson about AI: it can sound sure and still be wrong.
Check age rules. Many AI services set a minimum age, often 13 or older, and some require a parent's permission. Keep personal details like full name, school and address out of chats, and use child-safe settings where they exist.
02 · Think of it like this
It is like teaching a child to cross the road. First you do it together, holding hands, talking about what you look for.
03 · Do it now
04 · Quick check
