Practising with a mock interview
Ask a chatbot to play the interviewer, one question at a time, and to give honest feedback on your answers at the end.
01 · The idea
Interviews are a skill, and skills improve with practice. Most people practise by reading questions in their head, which is nothing like answering out loud under pressure.
A chatbot can play the interviewer. Give it the job post and your CV, tell it to ask one question at a time and wait for your answer. Voice mode makes it closer to the real thing.
At the end, ask for feedback: which answers were vague, where you needed a concrete example, and what a stronger answer might include. Ask it to be direct, since chatbots tend to praise too much.
Use the practice to find your stories, then tell them in your own words in the real interview. Interviewers can usually tell when an answer was memorised.
02 · Think of it like this
It is a sparring partner. It will not fight exactly like the real opponent, but you get the rounds in before the match.
